Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has asked Nigerians to stop paying attention to his personal life and instead focus on the serious issues facing the country.
According to reports, the singer made the statement on December 12, 2025, while performing at a live show where he thrilled fans with his hit songs.
While speaking to the audience, 2Baba said the ongoing discussions and speculations about his marriage to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru had lasted for too long. He stressed that Nigerians should channel their energy toward matters of national importance rather than gossiping about his private affairs.
The veteran musician reminded fans that he has spent many years entertaining Nigerians and bringing them joy through his music. He added that the country is currently facing serious challenges that deserve more attention.
In his words, 2Baba said:
“Make una ignore all that nonsense. Some serious things are happening in Nigeria. I’ve entertained you all enough. Let’s focus on more important things.”
His comments have since sparked reactions online, with many agreeing that national issues should take priority over celebrity gossip.
