Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has agreed to a new long-term contract that will keep him at the club until 2031. The deal will also make the 24-year-old one of the highest-paid players at the Emirates Stadium.
The new agreement comes as Arsenal continue efforts to secure their top talents for the future. In recent months, the club has also handed new contracts to key players including William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly. Saka’s previous contract was set to expire in June 2027, but the improved terms underline Arsenal’s commitment to keeping him long-term.
Saka, who joined Arsenal as a young boy, has grown into a key figure under manager Mikel Arteta. Since the Spaniard took charge in 2019, Saka has played more minutes than any other Arsenal player, showing his importance and consistency.
So far, the England international has made 290 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 77 goals. This season alone, he has recorded seven goals and six assists in 27 matches across all competitions.
Saka has also played a major role in Arsenal’s recent title challenges. During the 2023/24 season, he delivered an outstanding performance with 20 goals and 14 assists, as Arsenal finished just two points behind Manchester City in the Premier League. In the previous campaign, he registered 12 goals and 13 assists in 37 games, despite missing three months due to a hamstring injury that required surgery in December 2024.
With his new contract nearly finalized, Saka remains central to Arsenal’s ambitions as they continue to push for domestic and European success.
