Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has reacted publicly for the first time after being accused of contributing to the collapse of a woman’s marriage.
It was reported earlier that a UK-based Nigerian woman, Ify Okafor, accused Nancy Isime and former beauty queen Sylvia Nduka of being involved with her ex-husband, the owner of Circa Lagos, while they were still legally married. In a lengthy Facebook post, Ify alleged that her marriage suffered repeated infidelity, which caused her emotional pain, humiliation, and instability before it eventually ended.
Following the allegations, Nancy Isime did not directly address the claims. Instead, she shared posts on her Instagram page that many believe were her subtle response to the controversy.
The actress posted photos of herself on vacation and admitted that although she appeared happy to be back online, she felt like stepping away from social media completely. She referenced actor Alex Ekubo, who is known for taking long breaks from social platforms.
“I act like I’m happy to be back, but deep down I want to pull an Alex Ekubo on social media,” she wrote.
In another post, Nancy shared a video of herself enjoying life and looking unbothered. She also declared that 2026 would be a gentle and positive year for her.
“2026. Our softest year, where everything aligns for our highest good,” she added.
So far, the actress has not directly denied or confirmed the allegations, choosing instead to focus on self-care and positivity amid the ongoing online discussion.
