“I Live in Constant Fear and Can’t Sleep” – Singer Qdot Prays for Healing as He Battles Trauma After Robbery

Nigerian singer Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilarelisten, popularly known as Qdot, has revealed that he is still struggling with the trauma from an armed robbery he suffered in 2025.

It was reported in September last year that unknown gunmen attacked the singer at his home around 2:30 a.m. During the incident, the robbers stole his phones and laptops, emptied his bank accounts, and also took control of his social media accounts.

Five months after the attack, Qdot shared an emotional update on his X (formerly Twitter) page, saying the incident has continued to affect his mental health. He disclosed that he wakes up every night at exactly 2:30 a.m., the same time the robbery happened, and now finds it difficult to sleep peacefully due to fear.

The singer prayed for healing and peace, while also calling on the government and security agencies to take stronger action to stop such crimes. He expressed hope that improved security would prevent others from going through the same suffering.

In his post, Qdot wrote that although September 28 has passed, the trauma from that night remains with him. He tagged the Lagos State Government and the police, urging them to act decisively to address insecurity and help victims recover from such painful experiences.
