“Did you come to slave for us?” – Biodun Okeowo pens an emotional tribute to her late mother seven years after her passing.

Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo has shared an emotional message in remembrance of her late mother seven years after her passing.

Taking to her Instagram page, the Yoruba movie star posted a heartfelt letter reflecting on the pain of losing a mother. She stated that the loss of a mother leaves a void that never truly closes and a wound that never completely heals.

According to the actress, even after seven years, the pain of her mother’s death still feels fresh. She recalled the moment she received the heartbreaking news and how she broke down in tears when she was told that her mother had passed away.

Biodun also expressed sadness that her mother died just when many of the prayers and efforts she made for her children were beginning to come to reality. She wondered why her mother had to leave at the moment when life was about to become better for the family.

The actress praised her late mother for the sacrifices she made while raising her and supporting her through difficult times, especially when she was a young single mother. She explained that her mother helped care for her children and encouraged her to return to school and focus on building her life.

Despite the deep pain, the actress said she finds comfort in believing that her mother is resting with God. She added that her mother’s love, prayers, and strength continue to guide her every day.

Ending the tribute, Biodun Okeowo prayed for her mother’s peaceful rest and asked fans and followers to join her in praying for her late mother.
