Faithia Williams shares emotional message after mother’s burial

Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has made her first social media post following the burial of her late mother.

The Yoruba movie star had earlier revealed that she lost her mother just a day before celebrating her 55th birthday. At the time, the actress expressed deep pain over the loss, saying the reality of her mother’s death had not fully sunk in. She described her late mother as her biggest supporter, prayer warrior, best friend, and trusted gist partner.

On Saturday, March 7, family members, friends, and a few of her colleagues in the movie industry gathered to pay their final respects as her mother was laid to rest.

After the burial, the actress took to her Instagram page to share a video clip from the ceremony. In the emotional post, Faithia noted that her mother has finally gone to rest.

Bidding her a final farewell, the actress wrote: “My mother has finally gone to rest, IYAMI OWON, sun ree ooo.”

Her post has since drawn sympathy messages from fans and colleagues, who prayed for strength and comfort for the grieving actress during this difficult time.
