The senior pastor of Prestige Gospel Centre, Mark Miracle, has publicly cautioned social media personality Martins Vincent Otse over his recent staged death and mock burial.

The dramatic stunt reportedly took place over the weekend amid VeryDarkMan’s ongoing online feud with content creator King Micthy, who had previously faked her own death.

Addressing his congregation during a Sunday service on March 1, Pastor Miracle described the mock burial as spiritually dangerous. He warned that pretending to be buried is not entertainment and could provoke serious spiritual consequences. According to the cleric, VeryDarkMan may have unknowingly compromised his spiritual protection by performing the act.

“If you were conversant online yesterday, you saw what was happening. VeryDarkMan declared himself dead… You put yourself in a coffin, they pour sand. You are daring the spirits of death. You are daring God,” Pastor Miracle said.

The pastor also criticised social media and smartphone culture, saying that the desire for online attention drives young people to extreme and risky actions. He urged VeryDarkMan’s followers to stop praising the stunt and instead advise him to seek spiritual cleansing and deliverance. Pastor Miracle warned that a real tragedy could occur quietly, without public attention.

“I would stop praising him and tell him to go for total cleansing and deliverance. The main death may not be as popular as this one,” he added.
