UK-based crossdresser and social media personality Bobrisky has stirred reactions online after criticizing individuals who attended the recently concluded 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) without official invitations.
The Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards is one of the biggest entertainment events in Africa. The award ceremony celebrates excellence in African film, television, entertainment, and digital content creation. Every year, the event attracts actors, filmmakers, producers, influencers, celebrities, and other public figures from across the continent.
As expected, this year’s edition generated massive attention on social media due to its glamorous red carpet appearances, fashion displays, celebrity moments, and award presentations recognizing outstanding talents in the movie industry.
Reacting after the event, Bobrisky expressed frustration over the increasing number of people who allegedly attend the ceremony despite not being invited or having any direct connection to the film industry.
