Iya Rainbow has dismissed the long-standing rumour that late Yoruba actor Baba Agbako was the biological father of Fuji legend Pasuma, describing the claim as completely false.
Speaking in a recent interview, the veteran actress explained that the misconception has circulated for many years despite there being no blood relationship between Baba Agbako and the Fuji star.
According to Iya Rainbow, the rumour likely began because Pasuma's late mother was an actress who worked under Baba Agbako during her career in the Yoruba movie industry. She noted that Pasuma was already a grown young man before his mother introduced him to members of the film industry.
The actress also commended Pasuma for remaining humble, loyal, and respectful to those who shared a close relationship with his late mother. She said that despite achieving fame and success, the Fuji icon never abandoned the people who supported his mother.
Expressing her admiration, Iya Rainbow described Pasuma as a caring and responsible son, offering heartfelt prayers for his long life, good health, and continued success. She added that his loyalty and gratitude have earned him the love and respect of many veterans in the entertainment industry.
Her remarks have reignited conversations online, with many fans praising Pasuma for honoring his late mother's legacy and maintaining strong ties with those who knew her before his rise to stardom.
