TikToker Tunde Perry has appealed to the Nigeria Police Force to release popular streamer Peller following his reported detention after a confrontation with police officers.
According to reports, the incident began when Peller was allegedly stopped for driving a vehicle without a registration number plate. During the traffic stop, he reportedly argued with the officers, leading to his arrest. The incident happened just days after a video of the confrontation circulated on social media.
Reacting to the situation, Tunde Perry revealed that Peller's management team has been working tirelessly to secure his release. He also praised Tekunbi for standing by the streamer, saying Peller listens to him more than anyone else.
Tunde Perry further appealed to the Inspector-General of Police to forgive Peller, describing him as a young man who made a mistake. He urged the police to show mercy and allow the matter to be resolved peacefully.
He also advised young people to avoid arguing with police officers during traffic stops, saying issues that could be settled quickly may become more complicated when they turn into confrontations.
His appeal has sparked reactions online, with many social media users expressing different opinions. While some supported his call for Peller's release, others argued that everyone should obey traffic laws and face the consequences if they break them.
