“What Exactly Do You Want from Me?” – Eniola Badmus Cries Out Over Continued Body Shaming After Losing 87kg

Eniola Badmus has spoken out against the relentless body shaming she continues to face despite her remarkable weight loss transformation, revealing that she is still being criticized by the same people who mocked her when she was overweight.

In a heartfelt post shared on Instagram, the Nollywood actress disclosed that she weighed 170kg five years ago but now weighs 83kg after years of discipline, consistency, sacrifice, and prioritizing her health. She described the journey as one of the most difficult experiences of her life and said she is proud of how far she has come.

However, Eniola expressed disappointment that instead of celebrating her achievement, critics have continued to find fault with her appearance. She questioned why people who once body-shamed her for being plus-size are now mocking her after losing nearly 90kg.

Addressing the changes in her body, the actress explained that significant weight loss naturally affects the skin, adding that she is taking good care of herself by maintaining a healthy lifestyle and using collagen while embracing every stage of her transformation.

In her emotional message, Eniola admitted that although she rarely responds to online insults, the hurtful comments still affect her.

She wrote in part:

“Five years ago, I weighed 170KG. Today, in 2026, I weigh 83KG.

That didn’t happen overnight. It took years of discipline, sacrifice, pain, consistency, tears, setbacks, and choosing my health every single day.

The same people who body-shamed me when I was plus-size are the same people body-shaming me now that I’ve lost the weight.

What exactly do you want from me?

Just because I don’t respond to the insults doesn’t mean they don’t hurt. I’m human. Words have consequences.

Going from 170KG to 83KG isn’t a small achievement. Instead of constantly pointing out what you think is wrong with my body, why not celebrate the strength, determination, and resilience it took to get here?

If you don’t have anything kind to say, it’s okay to say nothing at all.

To my fellow women, so much of this bullying comes from women. We often say, ‘Women should support women,’ but where is that support when another woman is fighting to become healthier and happier?

I’m proud of my journey. I’m still growing, still healing, and still becoming the best version of myself. You don’t have to love my body, but you can choose to respect it. Be kind. Always.”

The actress also called on women to support one another instead of tearing each other down over physical appearance. She urged people to choose kindness, stressing that no one deserves to be bullied for being plus-size or for losing weight.

Eniola's emotional post has sparked widespread reactions online, with many fans applauding her determination, resilience, and honesty while encouraging others to celebrate health and personal growth rather than criticize people's bodies.
