Late Taiwo Hassan ‘Ogogo’s Daughter Debunks Report That Her Sister Welcomed a Baby After His Death

Lima, one of the daughters of late Nollywood veteran Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has debunked reports claiming that her sister, Kira, recently welcomed a child just days after their father’s death.

Reports had circulated online on Wednesday alleging that Kira gave birth shortly after the passing of the veteran actor, sparking conversations and prompting concerned friends, relatives, and members of the public to reach out to the family for confirmation.

However, Lima has now dismissed the report as false, urging the public to disregard the information and stop spreading unverified claims about the family.

In a statement addressing the viral report, Lima revealed that the family had received several calls and messages from friends and relatives who were seeking clarification about the alleged birth. She explained that the family felt compelled to publicly address the matter because of the growing circulation of the false information.

“Please disregard the information currently circulating that my sister has given birth. This is not true,” she stated.

Lima further appealed to the public to be mindful of the family’s emotional state, noting that they are still mourning the painful loss of their father. She urged people to respect their privacy and avoid sharing unverified information that could cause further distress during such a difficult period.

“At a time when our family is mourning the loss of our father, we kindly ask everyone to stop spreading or sharing unverified information about our family,” she said, while also appreciating those who have continued to offer prayers and support to the family.

The clarification comes as the family continues to mourn the death of Taiwo Hassan, whose passing has left his colleagues, fans, and loved ones devastated.

Following her father’s death, Kira had also shared an emotional account of their final conversation. According to her, the veteran actor encouraged his children to remain strong and reassured them that nothing would happen to him.
