Nigerian skit maker and content creator Carter Efe has explained why he has shown support for different Nigerian music stars at various times, while reflecting on his past association with Wizkid and his current loyalty to Davido.
Speaking during an interview with TVC News, Carter Efe was asked about his tendency to support different artistes, including Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido and Olamide.
In response, the content creator explained that he no longer wants to place all his loyalty behind one artiste because of what he described as a negative experience from his past relationship with Wizkid.
Carter Efe said: “I am not in any place because the last time I said let me be in one place, the person poured spit on my face and that is Wizkid.”
His comment appeared to reference the controversy surrounding his past association with Wizkid, suggesting that the experience influenced his decision to remain open in his support for different artistes.
Carter Efe has since been publicly associated with Davido and has also shown interest in supporting other leading Nigerian artistes, including Olamide.
