Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has expressed his desire to face Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy in a boxing match after his proposed bout with comedian and skit maker Carter Efe.
Speaking during an interview with Nevo Media, Speed Darlington revealed that he hopes to make Burna Boy his next opponent once his planned fight with Carter Efe is concluded.
The rapper said he wants to confront Burna Boy because of his lingering anger over his previous arrest, which he alleged was connected to the singer. According to him, a fight with Burna Boy would give him an opportunity to release the anger he has been carrying.
Speed Darlington said:
“The plan is after I finish with the Carter Efe, I hope they can make it happen. I want Burna Boy next so I can offload all my anger on him.”
He further described the proposed bout as something that would become one of the major highlights of his year, adding that it would be particularly satisfying for him.
“That would be sweet, that would be the highlight of this year,” he stated.
The rapper also maintained that his grievances against Burna Boy remain unresolved. He accused the singer of being responsible for his arrest and stressed that he would not forgive him over the incident.
Speed Darlington added that even if the two eventually settle their differences through a boxing match, he would still consider Burna Boy an enemy.
“He had me locked up, that’s what he did to me. That’s the deal, I can’t forgive that. Even after the fight, we are still enemies for life,” he said.
Canada-Based Nigerian Makes Claim About Peller and Jarvis
Meanwhile, a Canada-based Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after making an unverified claim about the reason Nigerian social media personalities Peller and Jarvis travelled to Canada.
According to the man, the couple's trip was allegedly not solely connected to educational purposes, contrary to what has been publicly suggested.
He claimed that Peller and Jarvis travelled to Canada primarily to have their baby rather than simply to pursue their studies.
The claim, which was shared online, stated: “Peller And Jarvis Came To Canada To Give Birth To Their Baby, Not Just To Study.”
The allegation has since generated mixed reactions from social media users, with some questioning the basis of the claim while others shared their opinions about the couple's reported plans.
