Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee is facing further delays in his ongoing legal case in the United Kingdom, as his matter has reportedly been adjourned until February 2027.
Poco Lee, who was arrested in the UK in mid-August, is reportedly facing charges including sexual assault, attempted rape and assault by penetration. He has been held on remand while the legal proceedings continue.
He was scheduled to appear before Snaresbrook Crown Court in London on September 15, 2026, but the expected hearing did not proceed as initially anticipated.
According to an update shared by socialite Oluomo of Derby, the prosecution presented the charges and requested additional time to gather further evidence in the case.
The socialite explained that Poco Lee’s next major hearing is expected to be a plea hearing in February 2027, during which the dancer would typically indicate whether he pleads guilty or not guilty to the allegations.
Oluomo of Derby wrote:
“I can confirm that the reports are true. Poco Lee is currently on remand in a UK prison.”
He also disclosed that he intends to attend the court proceedings to support Poco Lee and other members of the Nigerian community in the UK during difficult circumstances.
Oluomo of Derby, however, stressed the importance of allowing the legal process to take its course, reminding the public that Poco Lee remains innocent until proven guilty by a court of law.
The case is expected to continue in February 2027, when the plea proceedings are reportedly scheduled to take place.
