“Don’t Just Criticise, Propose Solutions” – RMD Urges Nigerians to Move Beyond Criticism and Take Action

Veteran Nollywood actor and filmmaker Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has called on Nigerians to play a more active role in addressing the challenges facing the country.

RMD made the call while speaking at the 2026 Pivot Nigeria Conference in Lagos, where he acknowledged the numerous issues confronting the nation.

According to the respected actor, identifying problems is only the beginning, stressing that citizens must also contribute ideas and take practical steps toward finding lasting solutions.

He urged Nigerians to move beyond constantly pointing out what is wrong and instead focus on what can be done to improve the situation.

“There are problems, but we need to fix them. Don’t stand and just criticise and propose no solution,” RMD said.

Dr Fab Steps Back From Samklef Case

Meanwhile, media personality Dr Fab has provided an update on his involvement in the controversial case surrounding music producer Samklef, saying he is stepping aside after discovering that the situation was more complicated than he initially expected.

Dr Fab had previously raised concerns about Samklef’s prolonged absence from social media. On September 25, he claimed that he had directly confirmed that the producer had been arrested and detained.

He subsequently launched the #FreeSamklef campaign and called for his release while attempting to establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged detention.

However, the reported arrest has not been independently confirmed by the police, a court or Samklef’s representatives.

In a recent post, Dr Fab said the matter had become more difficult than he anticipated and announced that he would step back from it.

His decision has generated mixed reactions online, with some social media users questioning his decision to withdraw, while others criticised his initial involvement in the matter.

Samklef has reportedly remained largely inactive on social media since April 2026, a situation that has contributed to concerns about his whereabouts.
