Laide Bakare Prays for Peace and Protection for Her Children as She Celebrates Her Birthday

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare is celebrating her birthday today, October 7, with a message centred on peace, gratitude, growth and new beginnings.

The actress and mother of three marked her special day by sharing stunning photographs on social media. Reflecting on her journey, Bakare described her new age as another opportunity to grow into a more experienced and mature version of herself.

She expressed gratitude to God for the lessons she has learned, her personal growth, beautiful moments and the challenges that have shaped her over the years.

In her birthday message, Bakare, who serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor on Entertainment, Art, Culture and Tourism, prayed for a new chapter filled with peace, purpose, love and greater reasons to be happy.

She also extended birthday wishes to others who share the same birth date with her, celebrating herself and her fellow birthday celebrants.

However, her birthday celebration also comes amid concerns she previously raised about her family.

Bakare had recently appealed to her fans to pray for the safety and protection of her two sons, who are currently with her ex-husband’s wife. The actress alleged that the woman was harbouring unhealthy plans concerning the children.

She also claimed that the father of her children had not been cooperating with her over the situation and called for prayers and Allah’s protection for her sons.

The actress has previously celebrated major milestones with her children. She took her daughter, Simi, to Saudi Arabia to mark her 18th birthday, describing her daughter as her look-alike and expressing pride in celebrating the milestone with her.

As she marks another year, Bakare appears to be focusing on peace, purpose and happiness while remaining grateful for the experiences that have shaped her life and career.
