Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has opened up about the emotional experience of travelling without her triplet sons for the first time since becoming a mother.
The actress, who welcomed her triplets earlier this year with her husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji, disclosed that she travelled to Ekiti State without the children, leaving them behind in Lagos.
Sharing her experience on social media, Mo Bimpe described the trip as a beautiful one, explaining that she flew into Akure before making her way to Ado-Ekiti, where she got dressed up, had her makeup done and attended an event.
Despite enjoying the outing, the actress admitted that a significant part of her remained at home with her children. She revealed that being away from the boys made her realise just how much motherhood had changed her.
According to her, she missed the little things she had become accustomed to, including cuddling her babies, looking at their faces before bedtime and waking up to them every morning.
“For the first time, I had to travel without them. No cuddles, no little faces to look at before bedtime, no waking up to my babies. Oh! I missed those three little humans,” she wrote.
Mo Bimpe further explained that motherhood had transformed her emotionally in ways she could hardly describe, noting that even when she was away enjoying activities she loved, her heart remained with her sons.
The actress also shared a playful moment involving one of the triplets, Rahman, who interrupted her voice-over while she was recording a video in Lagos.
She explained that she decided to leave his voice in the recording because she enjoys sharing little moments involving her children with her fans.
Describing the experience as part of the realities of motherhood, Mo Bimpe said her life now revolves around love, family and the beautiful chaos that comes with raising her children.
Her revelation has offered fans a glimpse into her life as a mother of triplets, highlighting the emotional attachment many parents experience when they have to spend time away from their young children.
Despite enjoying her trip to Ekiti State, Mo Bimpe made it clear that her boys remained close to her heart throughout the journey.
