Nigerian singer 2Baba’s wife, Natasha Osawaru, has sparked fresh speculation about the status of their marriage after appearing to drop the singer’s surname.
The Edo State lawmaker was seen in a video addressing members of the Edo State House of Assembly, where she was referred to as Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, her maiden name.
The development has attracted attention because Natasha was previously known as Natasha Osawaru Idibia following her relationship and marriage to 2Baba.
The couple have been at the centre of public attention for months, with their relationship generating several controversies since they went public with their union in 2025. Her latest decision to use her maiden name has therefore fueled speculation that the relationship may have ended.
The development comes weeks after Natasha was noticeably absent from 2Baba’s 51st birthday celebration in September. The singer celebrated the occasion with his mother and four of his children, while Natasha was not seen at the gathering.
Although the use of her maiden name has heightened rumours of a separation, neither Natasha nor 2Baba has publicly confirmed that their marriage has ended.
The situation continues to attract reactions from fans and followers, who are closely watching for an official statement from either party.
