Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has clarified the circumstances surrounding a baby picture she shared featuring veteran actors Patrick Doyle and Gloria Anozie Young.
The actress shared the picture on social media, playfully referring to the trio as “Mummy Lamlam, Daddy Lamlam and Baby Lamlam.” Joking about her appearance in the image, Bimbo described herself as looking like a terrorist in the photograph.
She wrote, “Mummy Lamlam, Daddy Lamlam and Baby Lamlam. Fun fact: that’s actually my baby picture. See, I be like a terrorist.”
However, following reactions from social media users, the actress clarified that Patrick Doyle and Gloria Anozie Young are not her biological parents but her parents in a movie.
Bimbo also explained that the picture had been sharpened and merged using artificial intelligence (AI), making it clear that the image was digitally enhanced rather than an original photograph of the three of them together.
Emphasising the distinction, she wrote, “The pictures are of me, Mummy Gloria, and Daddy Patrick. Sharpened and merged with AI. These aren’t my real parents, guy. They’re my movie parents.”
Her clarification appears to have been intended to prevent misunderstandings about her biological family while maintaining the playful tone of her original post.
The actress's post also highlighted the growing use of AI tools to enhance and combine photographs, as well as the close on-screen relationships actors sometimes develop while portraying family members in films.
