Residents of Anglican Road, Ilupewo community in Ado-Odo-Otta Local Government Area of Ogun state to have been thrown in confusion after they received a letter from armed robbers stating they were soon going to pay a visit to them. They posted the letters on gates and doors informing residents to keep Christmas gifts for them as they would be visiting anytime soon.

The letter introduced them as ‘Strong men of the road that own the night,’ urging the recipients to ensure they keep money at home always, as they are going to deal mercilessly with any resident who claims he/she does not have money as advanced notice has been given.
But the Commissioner of Police, on Thursday, assured the residents that the police was working effortlessly to stop the planned robbery.
