Gospel Artiste, Yinka Ayefele escaped beating at Ijare in Ondo state by some street urchins because he refused to settle them after he was paid N3 million for performing at a burial ceremony On hearing that he had been sneaked out of the venue of the burial the touts descended on his workers,
beating them up and destroying their equipment. According to reports, The thugs had sent a mandate to the leader of Ayefele's band to ask for their own share of the money, but he turned them down, they went angry and they started breaking chairs and bottles. About 15 people were injured
