Veteran Yoruba Actor, Adebayo Salami "Oga Bello" Says "I Nearly Quit Acting" *See Why*

 Legendary Yoruba Actor, Adebayo Salami popularly known as Oga Bello started his career way back to 1970 recently opens up about how at a point in his career he wants to quit acting because of the death of his Boss & Mentor Ojo Ladipo "Baba Mero" some years back. The Kwara state born reveals how he has been saddled alone with responsibility of leading the Awada Kerikeri Theatre Group 'A Yoruba funny theater group, he leads the group for many years until there came the home videos who took the better of him and the group.

I decided to quit acting because of the death of my late boss wife who died actually Seven (7) Years after her husband death, he said the mystery surrounding the whole thing is just too much for him bear, the actor continued i told my family to help me gather some money so i can start a business after the burial ceremony of my late boss wife, but the Late Dr Hubert Ogunde played an important role he called me to his and ask me why i wanted to quit i explained my side of the story then Baba said "don't you know you have to endure somethings if you want to be great in life, go back to your work, we'll support you with prayers. What the late Legend said really changed my mind and i decided to move on with my work and not mind speculations. The actor later said my life is really based on destiny.
