Nollywood actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod has spoken about his reported separation from his wife, Desola Afod, popularly known as Celeb Wife, months after rumours of a crisis in their marriage made headlines.
The actor addressed the issue during an interview with YouTube host Kasnasty Sugar, where he was asked about the circumstances surrounding the reported breakdown of his marriage.
Although Afod did not reveal specific details about what happened between him and Desola, he shared his views on some of the issues that can create problems in relationships, including infidelity, jealousy, mistrust and unequal expectations between couples.
Speaking about the demands of his acting career, the filmmaker acknowledged that his professional commitments sometimes make it difficult for him to spend enough time with his family.
He also discussed cheating and the suspicion that can develop between partners, suggesting that infidelity and a lack of trust can put considerable pressure on a marriage.

The actor went on to question what he considered unequal expectations between husbands and wives, particularly regarding the use of bedroom toys.
He questioned why a woman might comfortably ask her husband to purchase such items for her but react negatively if she discovered that he also used them.
According to Afod, couples should maintain fairness in their relationships instead of applying different standards to men and women.
