University of Ibadan has also joined the long list of Nigerian school's shutting down indefinitely as the Management of the Federal University ordered student to vacate the campus with immediate effect.

A circular was being issued by the Registrar of the school, Dr O.I. Olukoya on Tuesday evening 26th of April 2016, he said the management, in order to safeguard lives and properties had decided that the school should be shut indefinitely and that students should leave the school campus immediately. The school also urges student to comply with the rules and regulations till further notice.
