"On the second year of my radio show (Alibaba Seriously on 99.3fm), which incidentally happened to be around my birthday, I decided to give out 50k each to 5 listeners of our show. Chief OLA, one of our regular callers from day one, advised that spread it to as many callers as possible. He suggested I give out either 5k, 10k or 20k. He said a lot more listeners would benefit from that generosity than blessing one listener with 50k. Spread the love he advised. And I listened. We then decided to give out 10k each to people who called. Fast forward to collection of cash prizes. A woman showed up as one of the winners, named Cecilia. Can not recall the surname. She had a staff ID card of being a cleaner in a school in Surulere. And said she was a widow and needed help. One of my crew members said something about the ID card looking fake. She abused the living daylight out of him. She started to create a scene. I was moved most by the baby on her back that was crying. So I decided to increase her money to 20k. I sent @cguvnor to go help get some money from the ATM down the road. While he was gone she said she had been embarrassed and wanted to leave and we should just hand her the 10k and let her leave. Just then, a lady walks in. The real Cecilia. And had her phone log to show when she made the call plus, Driver's license, ATM cards and all. The fake Cecilia started making excuse of how frustration cause it. Her husband ran away with another woman. She is homeless, squatter in a church, an OND holder... Blah blah blah. When security threw her out, she bacame all emotional. And was boldly begging for the 20k I initially promised her. The picture I posted is one more reason it's harder to be generous online or offline. Scammers everywhere! You don't want to see my DM and inbox... Scammers everywhere"
