Zimbabwe's President Mugabe Orders Arrest Of The Nation's Olympic Team After Failing To Win A Medal In Rio

Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe was said to have instructed the Commissioner General of Zimbabwe Police, Augustine Chihuri to arrest and detain the whole Zimbabwean Olympic Team members immediately they arrived at the Harare International Airport on Tuesday, August 23.

Zimbabwe was one of the countries at the Olympics without a medal and the country was represented by 31 athletes. Mugabe in his words said: the Olympic team has failed the nation and have also wasted the country's money.
