A 57 year old American man, Charles Carlson, was found dead yesterday September 6 in his hotel room, Ellyx Ville hotel, located in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

The deceased, Carlson's body was reported to have been found beside a rope at around 5:30pm.It was gathered that the hotel management became suspicious after the guest did not come down for breakfast on Tuesday neither did he respond to telephone calls to his room and mobile number.
It was not clear if the man had committed suicide with the rope found beside him or he was murdered.
