Thief To Be Imprisoned After Stealing Tithe In Lagos Church [See]

A thief has been sentenced to six imprisonment after stealing N214,000 from the church tithe box.
The suspect, Elochukwu Nnoruga who was arraigned before Tinubu's Magistrate court in Lagos Island had pleaded guilty to the one count charge of theft preferred against him by the police.

Nnoruga committed the offense on August 14 at about 2pm at Saint Patrick Catholic Church, Idumaigbo, in Lagos Island.

He stole N214,000 from the tithe box after church service and in the guise of attending afternoon mass, also stole from worshipers.
The offense is punishable under Section 285 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
