1) Toyin Adegbola popularly known as 'Toyin Asewo to re mecca' was born on the 28th of December, 1961.

2) The actress began her acting career in 1984 in the Yoruba movie industry of Nollywood and she is a proud member of the board of the Osun State Arts and Culture Council.

3) Toyin's husband is dead and she has since not remarried, she has two children - a daughter and a son who both live in Dublin, Ireland.

4) Aside acting she's also a producer and got her nickname "Toyin Ashewo To Re Mecca" after she starred in movie back in 1992.
