Nurse Pulls Off Newborn Baby's Hand During Delivery At A Hospital In Ikorodu, Lagos [Photo]

A nurse, identified as Oyekanmi has been arrested by the police for role she played in the death of a baby she took delivery of in Odogunyan, Ikorodu area of Lagos state.

According to reports, the late newborn's mother, Adeola has been taken to the nurse's residence a day to Xmas, 24th of December when she went into labour.
The nurse, Oyekanmi while attempting to force the delivery, was reported to have pulled off the baby's hand.
She was said to have advised that the child be taken to the Ikorodu General Hospital, where the dead child was finally delivered.
Doctors at the hospital were reported to have queried the baby's parents on what truly transpired, and they opened up.
The hospital management then alerted the police on the incident and the nurse has since been detained and investigated by the police.
