Oladapo Oyeniyi and Kunle Ayotoye has being arrested on allegations of defrauding a bank based in the UK of 1.2 million dollars under fake identity.The police said the money was stolen between December 2012 and January 2013 while they were employees of a firm in Ikeja,Lagos.They were charged to court on three counts of conspiracy,fraud and stealing.The defendants were said to have conspired with other which are still at large to issue a fake order to Habib Bank,based in the United Kingdom to transfer 1.2 million dollars to 12 different people.

They were said to have done this disguising as their employer,Chris Ejike.The bank believed the whole story not knowing it was a lie and transferred the money.The defendants denied the charges and their lawyer urged the court to grant them bail which was granted.A bail of #5m each with two sureties each in the same sum.The sureties must also show evidence of tax payments to Lagos State Govt.,landed properties and must be blood relations of the accused.
