Yesterday,161 Nigerian citizens consisting of 60 males and 101 females including children voluntarily deported themselves from Libya after plenty of months in Libyan prisons and the journey was assisted by the International Organization for Migration.

The self deportees sang praises with beams of smile on their faces.One of the them said "Our people are dying" on arriving at the MMIA at about 3:30pm.They were however received with warm hands by the National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) and Nigerian Immigration Service(NIS) along with other agencies at the airport before later transported to Hajj Camp for profiling.More photos below
