Edson Cholbi do Nascimento, more commonly known as "Edinho," the son of football legend Pele and former goalkeeper was ordered to start his thirteen years jail term yesterday,Friday the 24th after he was charged for money laundering and drug trafficking.

The former goalkeeper was initially sentenced to 33 years behind bars in 2014.Due to appeals,he did not serve time in prison until yesterday when the new decision was handed down.Edinho who maintained his innocence vowed to continue fighting the charges.
