70-yr-old Lawrence Ripple has decided the best way to stay away from his troubled marriage is to rob a bank,wait for the police to arrest him and then go to jail.Lawrence,from Kansas pleaded guilty to the charges related to the robbery in September 2016.
The man was said to have entered the bank and give a teller to the cashier demanding for money and claiming he had a gun.After Lawrence was given the money out of fear,he waited for the police to come and arrest him.Lawrence had earlier said to his wife that he'd rather be in jail than be with his wife.His wife has however pleaded with the government to pardon her husband,saying she will make him happy.
