Real Madrid striker, Cristiano Ronaldo just like rival, Lionel Messi could face charges of tax evasion after allegations from the Spanish tax agency that he defrauded the authorities of €15 million between 2011 and 2014.
The 32-year old is accused of defrauding the taxman by hiding funds from his image rights and other endorsements through offshore accounts in the Virgin Islands.
According to prosecutors, if Cristiano is found guilty by a Spanish court, he would be facing a prison sentence of at least 15 months, that's a year and 3 months.
