BREAKING: University Of Ibadan All Set To Expel Over 350 100 Level Students For "Disgraceful Academic Performance"

University of Ibadan announces plan to expel 328 first-year students for ?shameful academic performance?

University of Ibadan (UI) has announce its plans to expel over 350, first year students for "disgraceful academic performance" in the recently concluded 2016/2017 session.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Idowu Olayinka, in a statement yesterday, blamed the situation on the absence of post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (post-UTME) screening test before the affected students and their set were admitted.

According to the VC, the students did not meet up with the minimum academic benchmark or requirements approved by the university Senate, adding that one out of every nine students in 100-Level did not meet the minimum condition to retain their studentship.
