Popular actress, Funke Akindele-Bello and her hubby, Abdulrasheed Bello other known as JJC Skillz, have been arraigned to court and they have pleaded guilty to the one count charge of going against the orders of the Lagos state government on public gatherings and social distancing.
Both of them were summoned by the Lagos State Government and the state police command on Monday morning April 6, before a Chief Magistrate court in Ogba, for the supposed violation of the lockdown order to reduce the increase of coronavirus. The charge was filed by the Attorney General of Lagos State, Moyosore Onigbanjo.
The couple were arrested for hosting a house party in their Amen estate home on Saturday April 4 regardless of the restriction in movement and social distancing order issued by the state government as a major aspect to reduce the increase of Coronavirus in the state.
Funke and her husband both pleaded guilty after the charge were read to them. The judge is being awaited to deliver her verdict.
