"To Keep My Sanity, I Switched Off My Phone" Veteran Actor, Jude Chukwuka Reveals After Naira Marley Promised Him A Million Naira

Popular Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley fans has grown from different part of the world much despite his vulgar lyrics.

It came as a surprise when a veteran actor known as Jude Chukwuka posted videos of himself singing Naira Marley's song, "Mafo" word for word.

Jude who is 56 years revealed in an interview with Sunday Scoop that he enjoys singing and Naira Marley was his favourite singer, he also said he did not know that the video he posted went viral and he wanted to post another one but changed his mind, he added how long it took to learn the lyrics because he had listened to the music over a hundred times.

He also said;

“I really cannot explain how I felt when I was told that Naira Marley was looking for me online. I got over 500 calls. When I eventually answered a colleague’s call, he told me to go on Instagram that Naira Marley was looking for me. I then went online and saw so many messages. I didn’t even know how to feel at first. But to keep my sanity, I switched off my phone, so no one could reach me till I got home.’’
