In August 2011, veteran actor Sam Loco Efe passed on. He had been found dead in a hotel room according to sources. The star was best known for his comedic roles, as his films typically evoked laughter from audiences.
His son Omoruyi took to his Twitter account in remembrance of the actor to announce
that the death of his father occurred while he was sitting in school for exams.
“Around this time in 2011, I was just starting my bar finals exams when news of your death hit me. 9 years gone! 9 years remembered! Rest on erhamwen!” he tweeted.
Several Nigerians have reacted to the son's remembrance post as they spoke about how his father is still missing in the entertainment industry.
