Nollywood actor, Femi Branch, throws a big celebration party for his mother as she clocked 80. It was accounted that he shut down Ijebu town for her.
The actor was happy at the turnout of guests, most especially of colleagues in the movie industry. He went ahead to thank a selected few.
To Funsho Adeolu, his colleague in the movie industry, and his wife, he wrote: “despite the horrible traffic and our crazy shoot culture, you guys came to put a smile on Yeye’s face. God will continue to bless you both”
He specially thanked Abbey, movie producer, and Yewande Adekoya, his wife.
His successful recovery from his recent tragic ordeal made the celebration all the happier. The actor had been out of work due to complications that arose from a very serious injury.
It had taken him three years to recover, and even then there had been a select few works he could do, the actor claimed in an interview with Saturday Beats.
“I was getting scripts but I could not take them because they required me to move frequently. If I was getting five scripts in a month, I could not do any of them and on some occasions, I could only do one or two projects. That was what happened during that period. I could not work because of the medical situation”
He went further to thank his colleagues and friends for their support.
