Lagos State Set To Vaccinate 1.5 Million Dogs For Free. (Photos)


Over the next two weeks, the Lagos State Government says it will vaccinate around 1.5 million puppies.

On Tuesday, Feb 16, the government declared that the vaccination will take place during the free anti-rabies vaccination drive to prevent animal deaths in the state.

This was confirmed by Abisola Olusanya, the State Commissioner for Agriculture, at the inauguration of the vaccination campaign at Oba Ayangburen Palace in Ikorodu, Lagos.

Abisola encouraged dog owners to carry their dogs for vaccination, as the state government had made the exercise free of charge.

Olusanya announced that the exercise will take place in the five state divisions, including the Veterinary Clinic, next to LASPOTECH Second Gate, opposite Access Bank, Odogunyan, Ikorodu; Veterinary Centre, Epe Local Government Compound, Orita Marun Epe; Veterinary Clinic, opposite Bethel Church, next to Alesh Hotel Ajah; and Randle General Hospital, Benson Lane, Suruler Clinic, opposite Bethel Church, next to Alesh Hotel Ajah.


Others are Aiyedoto Farms Settlement Veterinary Clinic, Agric Road, Ojo; Beach Road Veterinary Clinic, Opposite General Hospital, Badagry; and Old Abeokuta Motor Road Animal Hospital, next to LSADA Office, Opposite DSTV Office, Oko-Oba Agege.
