Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, has paid tribute to her late mother on Mother's Day.
Iyabo says she misses her mom a lot and lacks the ability to accept her absence.
The mom of two further said that she feels blessed and honoured to have been capable of caring for her late mother while she was still alive, but it gives her comfort to know she is in a better place.
Sharing a video of her mum when she was alive, the actress wrote;
“GOD KNOWS I MISS YOU SWEET MOTHER… now when I look back at all you went through in life all l I can say is I got my energy & strength from you. You were one strong woman, what you went through in life, mentally, I don’t wish it upon my enemy,
I feel so honoured and blessed that I was able to Love & take very good care of you to the best of my ability………
As hard as it is to accept your glorious exit, it gladness my heart to know & believe that you are in a better place… i know you still prayering & watching over me from heaven ……..Happy Mothers day my hero & number one fan I Love You & I will always do.
