Sadiq Daba, a veteran Nollywood actor, is dead.
Daba, who rose to fame in Nigeria for his role as Bitrus in the now-defunct NTA drama series Cock Crow at Dawn, died on March 3 after a long battle with Leukemia and prostate cancer.
He was said to have died in his Marwa Garden home in Alausa, Lagos State.
In 2019, he went public with his request for financial support for his recovery. Femi Otedola, a billionaire businessman, and several other Nigerians gathered behind him and provided financial support.
Unfortunately, he succumbed to the illness yesterday evening.
The late actor was spotted last at the Para foundation event for veterans hosted by Foluke Daramola as she gave them award and money gift.
