Just a few months after two of the Alaafin of Oyo's favorite queens, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, left the palace, another of the monarch's queens has left.
This comes just weeks after the elderly monarch presented one of his wives, Memunat Omowumi, with a magnificent mansion. Several reactions erupted on social media, with netizens claiming that the gift was given to spite the two other queens who had left the palace.
Gistlovers, a controversial Instagram writer, revealed the queen's departure, but she did not reveal the circumstances that led to her abandoning the Alaafin.
"Vawulence Palace:Another spanner lost as Alaafin of Oyo last wife also leaves the palace months after his two favorite queen left the palace and ran to Lagos, Details later." the blogger wrote.
This news has sparked debate on social media, with some users believing that some of the monarch's young wives are only using him to gain popularity.
