Only a week after Nollywood actor Olarewaju Omiyinka, also known as Baba Ijesha, was released, his colleague Yomi Fabiyi came out to Iyabo Ojo following their public feud over the sexual assault case.
Following the arrest and custody of Baba Ijesha, who was accused of abusing a 14-year-old girl, Yomi Fabiyi and Iyabo Ojo were significant competing forces. They also publicly dragged each other on Instagram and threw shade at each other.
Iyabo Ojo and Princess Damilola Adekoya, according to Yomi Fabiyi, had also pledged to kill Baba Ijesha if he was granted bail.
Iyabo Ojo retaliated by writing to Yomi Fabiyi through her lawyer, requesting that he retract his defamatory statement and issue a public apology.
Yomi Fabiyi, in a post uploaded on his Instagram page a few days after Baba Ijesha was given bail, claimed he's still shocked at how the alleged rape case turned out.
Yomi Fabiyi claims that he does not want to be upset with Iyabo Ojo again and that he has forgiven her for all of the harm she has caused him in the past.
"Iyabo, deep inside my heart I still doesn’t wish to get angry or quarell with you. I am still in shock how this turn out. Dear, find peace, find peace with others and yourself. I won’t say because of this issue then deny who you were. You used to be a nice person Iyabo. I forgive all the hurts done to me. Be good. Hopefully, this meets you well.
Peace. Yomi Fabiyi." he wrote.
