Idowu Phillips, popularly known as ‘Iya Rainbow,' told BBC Yoruba that she begged Comedienne Princess for four days to dismiss the case of Baba Ijesha, but she refused her request.
Some Nollywood celebrities, including Yomi Fabiyi and Bukky Black, have spoken out against Iyabo Ojo's reaction to Baba Ijesha's case. Baba Ijesha was recently accused of molesting a youngster. He was apprehended by the cops. He was arrested and sent to court, where he was given bail.
Iya Rainbow also told BBC Yoruba that she tried everything she could to persuade Princess not to let the case go to court, but she didn't agree with her.
According to her, Baba Ijesha has been released, but the issue among the theatre practitioners must be settled amicably.
She also remarked that whether or not Baba Ijesha is guilty, their group must unite and reach an amicable resolution.
Iya Rainbow, on the other hand, begged for peace to rule among all parties concerned in order for the issue to be resolved.
