In response to the viral video of her exchanging words with Tiwa Savage in a bar, singer Seyi Shay has finally provided her side of the story.
On June 8, 2021, two Nigerian celebrities, Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage, met at a salon. Shay was getting her hair done in preparation for her Idol debut on Sunday, June 13, 2021, while Savage was getting her hair done in preparation for her Idol debut on Sunday, June 13, 2021.
The two ladies who have been feuding for a long time met at a saloon and decided to restart their fight, according to the video that is currently going viral.
According to Tiwa, Seyi had previously said a lot of negative things about her and had even blocked her on Instagram, but he still summoned the bravery to say hello to her at the saloon, and then the outburst.
In a phone call with PULSE, Seyi Shay defended herself by claiming that not all of the footage was uploaded online because Tiwa Savage cursed her and wished she would never have a child.
“She used her child to swear and I was trying to stay calm….i don’t know if she is angry over her pregnancy rumor that has been making headlines or sometime now but she prayed I will not have a child in Yoruba language…she said to me, seyi oni bimo, olorun oni fun e ni omo, mo mo pe o n wa omo (Seyi you will not have a child God will not give you a child, I know you have been looking for one) and it hurt me cos i have had a miscarriage and I know how much pain i felt when it happened, and then this curse…..i felt bad and concluded that she is out for my blood…..and she kept saying I am rich, I am made…. what is her main reason for claiming she is rich…why is she stalking me and saying i’m looking for a child…she is about seven years older than me and acting that childish in a public place, a saloon…”
