Funke Akindele, has spoken out about her ex-husband, Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof, torturing and blackmailing her at home.
The actress revealed her ordeal in a scene of her self-produced successful comedy series, Jeniffer's Diary, which aired on Scene One TV on July 18, 2021, according to Cutie Julls, an Instagram blogger.
The actress told how her previous husband verbally assaulted her and threatened to go public if she ever left the marriage in an attempt to smear her name and brand.
Her ex-husband ended their marriage over the phone while she was on set, according to the actress.
This had a mental and physical impact on her, and she lost many endorsement opportunities as a result.
She, on the other hand, expressed gratitude to God for blessing her with a better man, JJC Skillz, and a set of twin sons.
Some social media users who claimed to have known Funke Akindele when she was still married to her ex-husband confirmed the story while thanking God for her life.
