Adewale Elesho, a veteran actor, is well-known for his humor. People are likely to get an earful when they see him on the TV. What distinguishes him, though, is that whenever he chastises people, there is usually a lesson or two to be learned from his words.
Elesho stated why he seemed to like verbal spankings. "I mistreat people because it's what the script says I have to do to portray the part correctly," he explained. Any rational individual would recognize that whatever I do in a film contributes to the overall narrative. However, I must admit that certain filmmakers saw that anytime I had to finish someone in a film, I did a good job, and they began to put me in more of those sorts of parts. I basically mistreat people because I'm pretending to be someone else. It's also important to remember that our job as performers teaches society.
As a result, anytime I insult people in movies, I'm sending a message."
